UPS Surcharges
Effective September 8, 2025, a fee will be assessed for each UPS Worldwide Express®, UPS Worldwide Express Plus®, UPS Worldwide Express NA1®, UPS Worldwide Expedited®, and UPS Worldwide Saver® U.S. import shipment.
The International Processing Fee will be £2.00 or the local currency equivalent per shipment.
Impact Express Service & Tariff Guides will be updated asap 21 to reflect these changes.

Effective June 30, 2025, a Surge Fee of GBP 0.50 per kg (or local currency equivalent) will be applied to all air shipments to and from Israel, reflecting the current market conditions.
Middle East shipping surcharges
DHL – From the 5th of March 2026, and until further notice, all shipments exported to or imported from Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Israel and United Arab Emirates will incur an Elevated Risk Surcharge. Shipments to and from the Middle East are likely to encounter longer transit times.
UPS –
19 March 2026 – Update
A Surge Fee for international air shipments to and from Israel has been in place since 8 March 2026.
Effective 15 March 2026, the fee will increase to GBP 2.46 per kg (or local currency equivalent) and
will remain in place until further notice.
A Surge Fee for international air shipments to and from the United Arab Emirates has been in place
since 8 March 2026. Effective 22 March 2026, the fee will increase to GBP 2.46 per kg (or local
currency equivalent) and will remain in place until further notice.
19 March 2026 – Update
A Surge Fee for international air shipments on selected lanes and services to and from the
Middle East and Asia has been in place since 8 March 2026. Effective 22 March 2026, the fee will
increase to GBP 2.20 per kg (or local currency equivalent) and will remain in place until further
notice.
• The impacted lanes include Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Pakistan, Lebanon,
Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Iraq, Nepal, Afghanistan, Egypt, Kuwait and Oman.
• In addition, the Surge Fee will apply to air shipments to India; it will not apply to shipments
from India.
• International air shipments include Worldwide Express, Express Saver, Express Plus,
Expedited, Midday and Express Freight.
• This fee is subject to fuel surcharge and will apply based on the billable weight of the
shipment for international shipments.
• Please note that Surge Fees are subject to change.
Additionally, the Surge Fee will apply to air shipments to India; it will not apply to shipments from India.
